Celebration of Life Cancer Survivors Event

Hats Off!  For celebrities, we applaud.  For a winner, we cheer.  But when we see a true survivor, we take our hats off in honor and recognition!  Please feel free to wear a hat - crazy or conservative, bold or boring, funny or flamboyant!

Join other survivors of cancer, their families and the Oncology Services staff of Beaumont Health System for an afternoon of celebrating life on National Cancer Survivors Day.

Registration is a must for this free event.

Please register only the cancer survivor. During checkout, in the "comments" section, include the number of guests attending, along with the name of the survivor's oncologist.

Preseason Sports Clinic for Student Athletes

Beaumont and D1 Detroit invite student athletes 13 and older to stay ahead of the game with a free sports clinic including:

·         Concussion education

·         Computerized concussion baseline screening

·         Group-based athletic training

·         Dynamic warm-up

·         Agility and quickness drills

Take advantage of this sports clinic with Beaumont’s Concussion Health Awareness and Management Program (CHAMP).

These screenings will employ the same ImPACT technology used by the NFL, NHL, MLB and college and high school athletics programs across the country.  Group-based training sessions are led by skilled athletic trainers from D1 Detroit who work with elite athletes from high school through the pros.

Registration is required for one of the 90-minute sessions. The student athlete must bring the signed "Concussion Screening Program Consent form" with them in order to participate in this event.

It is strongly recommended that the student athlete wear comfortable workout clothing and shoes.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session.
